Helping Parents Unlock Their Family’s Learning Potential

Taking ownership of your child’s learning can sometimes feel stressful, overwhelming, and isolating - especially if you don’t yet have the right tools, strategies, or confidence. You want your child to thrive, but it can be hard to know where to start or how to make learning feel manageable and meaningful at home.

That’s where I come in.

Why I Do This Work

My own home education journey began in Year 3 when my parents decided to homeschool my siblings and me during my dad’s overseas work. What started as a six-month plan grew into a life-changing education that continued through Year 12.

That experience showed me what’s possible when families have the right support and understand how learning works. Stress can shift into confidence, and children can flourish in ways that honour who they are.

Later, as a classroom teacher, I saw this from another angle. I watched the powerful difference it made when parents felt equipped and involved in their child’s learning — and how hard it was for teachers to provide that level of individualised guidance to every family within the limits of a busy classroom.

Those experiences together are what led me to create HomeEd Help.
